赵维伦祖籍山东省淄博市，2005年9月8日出生于意大利，5岁不到就在意甲联赛的瓦雷泽篮球俱乐部的小篮球部报名，正式开启了篮球训练道路。2023年11月，赵维伦升至瓦雷泽一队出战FIBA欧洲杯，成为中国篮球历史上首位征战FIBA欧洲杯的男运动员。
在2023年U19男篮世界杯中，赵维伦代表中国出战，场均可以得到9.9分1.9篮板2.6助攻。2024年6月，中国篮球之队官方公布了中国男篮的集训名单，赵维伦在列。
在今年夏天，美国OTE联赛官方宣布，赵维伦将会参加今年的OTE选秀。
